The pricing on caskets were alot better than the funeral homes, and the process of buying and getting it shipped to the home was easy, they were able to do next day shipping. Staff were friendly, and helpful for the most part.

My issue on why I am rating this place three stars is the following:

We put a deposit down on a casket, with ship address to be determined once the funeral home was confirmed, and we were told that the deposit would reserve the casket for us. Two days later once the home was decided, I contacted casket depot and was going to finish paying off the rest. We were then told they sold the only one remaining because they did not realize they didn't have more. We were offered to pick a different casket and picked one of equivalent value. When I asked about a discount due to the fact that we signed and reserved the casket, we were told that the mistake was their fault but that they could not give us a discount.

If this were about any other product I would not be mad, but because this is for funeral I was not pleased with that. I understand human error, it is just the response to that error which we didn't appreciate. The most we were offered was them checking their other warehouse and the day of delivery we would see which casket was delivered. The delivered product still was not the original one.

Overall I would still recommend this place, seeing the other reviews I am sure this is a very uncommon error, its just the particular circumstance that occurred makes it hard for me to review higher.

I purchased a beautiful casket from Casket Depot at more than 50% less than the cost from the funeral home. I initially ordered online, unfortunately it was out of stock but they offered me one slightly better at same price! Their service was professional, delivery was on time, casket was perfect.
