Will the funeral home accept a casket I buy from you?
Yes. Under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, funeral homes are legally required to accept caskets purchased from third-party vendors. They cannot charge extra handling fees or treat you differently.
Same-day and next-day delivery is available. We coordinate directly with your funeral home , so you don’t need to make any calls. We have never missed a funeral.
It mostly comes down to overhead. Funeral homes have high operating costs (facility maintenance, staff, 24/7 availability) & historically marked up merchandise significantly to cover those costs. We operate out of our showroom & warehouses and sell direct-to-consumer, allowing them to pass those savings on.
Yes most funeral homes will ask you to be present and sign for the delivery of the casket. This is often for a inspection of the casket, which can be done as quick as you like.
